TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball team plays its first home matches of the 2024 season this Friday-Saturday, Sept. 13-14, when it hosts the Rocket Invitational.
The Rockets will welcome Eastern Washington, Marshall and Northern Kentucky to Savage Arena for a two-day, six-match tournament. All matches will be streamed on ESPN+.

PARKING INFO
Parking will be limited for this weekend's tournament due to the Bands of America event taking place in the Glass Bowl.
On Friday, fans can only park in
Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6 from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. On Saturday, fans will only be able to park in
Lots 2, 3 and 4 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. A parking map of campus can be found

ROCKET NOTES
- Taylor Alt ranks second on the NCAA Division I Active Career Kills List with 1,781.
- Alt was named to the Cyclone Invitational All-Tournament Team after collecting 32 kills, 21 digs, five blocks and an ace last weekend. The fifth-year senior collected the 37th double-double of her career against Wake Forest (Sept. 7) with 15 kills and 15 digs. She is averaging a team-best 3.38 kills per set and was also named Tournament MVP at Binghamton's Bearcat Classic (Aug. 30-31).
- Macy Hatkevich and Ella Abraham are pacing the Rockets in assists. Hatkevich is averaging 4.77 per set, while Abraham is closely behind with 3.62 per set.
- The Rockets have been a force from behind the service line. Toledo has totaled 51 service aces throughout the young season, which ranks second in the conference and 14th in the country. The team is averaging 2.32 aces per set, good for second in the MAC and 17th nationally.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
- Eastern Washington comes into the weekend with a 1-4 record. The Eagles earned a win against Cal State Bakersfield and most recently dropped two matches to Washington State.
- Kalista Lukovich paces Eastern Washington's offense, averaging 2.74 kills per set. Makenna Collins leads their defense, tallying 4.31 digs per set.
SCOUTING THE NORSE
- Northern Kentucky enters the tournament with an overall record of 2-4. The Norse have defeated Morehead State and South Dakota, while dropping matches to No. 9 Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Missouri and No. 4 Louisville.
- Joy Banks leads the Norse's offense, averaging 3.35 kills per set. Lucy Cluxton has been stout on the defensive side, recording 4.95 digs per set.
SCOUTING THE HERD
- Marshall owns a 5-1 overall record, dropping its only match to Davidson during opening weekend.
- The Herd have three players with over 40 total kills on the season with Brynn Brown leading the way with 64. Brown is averaging 2.91 terminations per set.
- Peyton Neal has 105 total digs, good for 4.77 digs per set.
UP NEXT
The Rockets close out non-conference play at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Sept. 19-21. Toledo will open the tournament against Belmont on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 5:00 p.m.
