Rockets playing 18 holes each day Sunday-Tuesday at Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's golf team will travel to Grove City, Ohio this weekend for the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championships. The 54-hole tournament will include 10 schools and be played at the par-72, 6,201-yard Pinnacle Golf Club on Sunday-Tuesday, April 21-23. Tee times will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday and Monday and 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets' tee times on Sunday will be from 11:10-11:50 a.m., with Monday's and Tuesday's times determined by the team standings following each round.
THE FIELD
• Ten schools are participating in the MAC Championships.
• Kent State is the only school to win the MAC Championship in its 24-year history and is the favorite to win the tournament again this year. The Golden Flashes are ranked No. 65 in national computer rankings (Clippd) with Northern Illinois the next MAC school appearing at No. 139.

ROCKETS AT THE MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
• Junior Yedam Lee is leading the Rockets with a 76.6 stroke average with seniors Angel Hii (76.9) and Macy Hanus (77.1) ranking second and third, respectively.
• Lee and fifth-year senior Amelia Lee led Toledo at last year's MAC Championships by tying for 19th place.
• Hii tied for 10th place at the 2021 MAC Championships when she was a freshman for the best finish by a Rocket on the current roster.
• The Rockets have finished as the runner-up in five of the last 10 MAC Championships and placed in the top four in seven of those years.
• Toledo's all-time showings in the event have included five second-place (2006, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019), seven third-place (1999, 2002, 2003, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015), five fourth-place (2000, 2001, 2004, 2007, 2021), four fifth-place (2005, 2009, 2017, 2023) and two sixth-place (2011, 2022) finishes.
LAST TIME OUT
• Macy Hanus set a school record and tied for second place to lead the Rockets at Bowling Green's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational on April 6-7. Hanus finished at two-under par-142 at the par-72, 5,911-yard Stone Ridge Golf Club, one shot better than Pinyada Kuvanun for the lowest 36-hole total ever in program history.
• Toledo finished in fifth place in the team standings at 26-over par 602.
ON THE HORIZON
• The winning team at the 2024 MAC Championships will qualify for NCAA Regionals action on May 6-8.
