HOLLISTER, MO. – The Toledo women's golf team battled extreme weather conditions on Tuesday and sits in second place following the opening round of Missouri State's Ozarks National Invitational. After Monday's opening round was canceled due to rain, only 18 of the 36 scheduled holes could be played today.
"Our conditions today were one of the coldest and windiest days I've experienced in 16 years," Head Coach
Jenny Coluccio said. "The team had great attitudes and excelled at accepting what we could not control and focused only on what they could. It was a win for us today with following our process."
Junior
Yedam Lee is in third place at four-over par 76 to lead the Rockets. Fifth-year senior
Amelia Lee is tied for fourth place at six-over par 78.
