Kids Days to Be Held for Women’s and Men’s Hoops

Baby Race to take place on Dec. 28 and Cheer Clinic on Jan. 10
TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's and men's basketball programs are hosting Kids Days on Saturday, Dec. 28 and Friday, Jan. 10, respectively.
Children 12 years old and younger that are dressed in their favorite superhero, player or princess costume will receive FREE admission.
A Kids Zone at the games will include inflatables, shooting on mini-hoops, and assorted games (Giant Connect Four, Jenga, Cornhole). Kids can also draw their favorite player's head shot and submit it to ToledoRockets@utoledo.edu by Friday, Dec. 20 to be seen on the videoboard on game day. A photo booth will also be available to take your photos with Rocky and Rocksy.
For the women's game vs. Defiance on Dec. 28, a Baby Race will take place at halftime for little Rockets that are crawling. To register please go to utrockets.com/babyrace2024.
Kids can also enjoy the opportunity of being a guest Public Address announcer and more. Audition videos for announcing the Rockets' starting lineup, leading the TOL-EDO cheer, or spinning some tunes can be sent to ToledoRockets@utoledo.edu or posted on Rockets' social media channels using the hash tag #JRRocket.
In addition to the Kids Days, a cheer clinic will be held prior to the men's basketball game vs. Central Michigan on Friday, Jan. 10 with a halftime performance. For more information and to register for the clinic, visit utrockets.com/cheerclinic.
