Toledo Wraps Up Fall Slate with Zach Barden Memorial Invite

Rockets host final fall competition at Launchpad Tennis
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team wraps up its fall slate at the Zach Barden Memorial Invite on Friday-Sunday, Nov. 15-17. The Rockets will compete against Case Western Reserve, Denison, Marquette and the University of Northwest Ohio with all matches taking place at Launchpad Tennis (5400 Central Ave. Toledo, Ohio 43615).
The tournament will see two flights of singles and one flight of doubles. Action begins at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and 2:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Zach Barden Memorial Invite is held as a tribute to former Rocket Zach Barden. The Zacharias Barden Legacy Foundation exists to help support Zach's passions, including improving tennis and fitness opportunities for Toledo-area community members. Those interested in donating can do so here.
All seven Rockets will compete this weekend, including sophomores Poonthong Komolpisut and Charlie Snow and senior Hanamichi Carvajal, who recently played in the M25 International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Tour in Columbus, Ohio.
