Rockets Set for MAC Fall Individual Championship

Toledo to compete against conference rivals this weekend
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team is back in action at the Mid-American Conference Fall Individual Championship on Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 24-27. The tournament is being hosted by Miami at the Riverside Country Club in Hamilton, Ohio.
The Rockets will be represented by freshman Jacklynka Scholten and sophomore Gaby Rondon.
The first round of singles is set for Thursday morning and will consist of Scholten and Rondon taking on competition from Western Michigan. Singles play will continue on Friday with both the quarterfinals and consolation matches.
Doubles competition opens on Friday morning, as Scholten and Rondon will take on Erika Dimitriev/Nataly Ninova from Northern Illinois. Doubles semifinals and consolation matches will resume on Saturday afternoon.
The fall individual championship concludes with both the doubles and singles championships. The doubles championship is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. with the singles championship match following.

Toledo will wrap up their fall slate as it hosts the Rocket Indoor Invitational on Nov. 1-2 at Twos Athletic Club.
