Rockets and Golden Grizzlies set to battle at Savage Arena at 6:00 p.m.

TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo hosts Oakland in midweek, non-conference volleyball action on Tuesday evening. The match will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Savage Arena.

Tuesday's matchup between the Rockets and Golden Grizzlies will be streamed live on ESPN+ and televised locally on BCSN

Last Time Out

Toledo dropped a pair of matches to North Dakota State and Portland State in Fargo over the weekend. UT was swept by the Bison on Friday before falling to the Vikings in four sets on Saturday.

Fifth-year senior Ryann Jaqua was Toledo's all-tournament team selection, averaging 4.43 digs/set across both matches.

Freshman Emily Honzelka turned in the best performance of her young career against Portland State, tallying seven kills and seven blocks. Her seven blocks are the most by a Rocket in a match this season.
As a team, Toledo ranks second in the MAC in blocks (2.19/set). Fifth-year senior Rhyenne Filisi is averaging a team-best 0.76 blocks/set.
Senior Taylor Alt has four double-doubles in her last five matches.
Alt's 22 kills vs. Northeastern on Aug. 25 are the third-most in a match by a MAC player this season.
Senior Jada Bouyer has hit at least .300 four times this season, including a high of .444 against Wake Forest on Aug. 25. She ranks eighth in the MAC in attack percentage (.304)

Oakland enters play on Tuesday with a 4-5 record and went 1-2 at its home tournament this past weekend. The Golden Grizzlies defeated Eastern Michigan, but lost to Kansas City and Chicago State. Patti Cesarini leads Oakland offensively, averaging 3.18 kills/set, and Emily Wichmann ranks 21^st nationally with 5.15 digs/set. The Golden Grizzlies rank sixth in all of Division I in digs, averaging 17.56 per set.
