TOLEDO, Ohio – Senior Alexia Moehling recorded a seventh-place finish in the 100H to lead the Toledo women's track & field team on the final day of Ohio State's Jesse Owens Track Classic on Saturday.

Moehling posted a time of 14.23 to place ninth in the prelims. The time fell just 0.01 short of her PR set last weekend at the Tiffin Track Carnival. Moehling advanced to the finals, where she finished seventh with a time of 14.28. Sophomore Mayson Bates joined Moehling in the 100H, placing 16th in the prelims with a time of 14.53.

Freshman McKinley Fielding made her collegiate 3000m steeplechase debut in Columbus, placing eighth. Her time of 11:33.89 was the fastest by a Rocket this season.

Toledo's 4x100m relay team of Paris Gosha, Ava Moran, Jimesha Ragland, and Meyah Haywood also placed eighth. The Rockets posted a time of 47.92 for their fastest time in the event this season.

Junior Shianne Johnson was the lone Rocket competitor in the 400m. She crossed the finish line at 1:00.46, coming within a second of her personal-best time from last weekend's Tiffin Track Carnival.

Toledo was well-represented in the 100m, with five Rockets competing in the event. Moran and Heywood placed 31st and 32nd, clocking times of 12.59 and 12.65, respectively. Gosha recorded a time of 12.76, while Moehling crossed the finish line at 12.78. Ragland rounded out the field for the Rockets with a time of 12.92.

Sophomore Amara Okpalaoka reached a distance of 11.12m as the lone Rocket competing in the triple jump.

Toledo will wrap up regular season competition with two meets next weekend. One group of Rockets will head to Philadelphia, Pa., for the Penn Relays on Thursday-Saturday, April 27-29, while the remainder of the team will travel to Kentucky for the Jim Green Invite on Friday-Saturday, April 28-29.
