TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball team concluded the regular season with an impressive victory on Wednesday night, sweeping Ball State in three sets at Savage Arena.
The win was the Rockets' (13-16, 11-7 MAC) first over the Cardinals (16-13, 13-5 MAC) since Sept. 28, 2017, which was also a three-set victory at home.
Toledo will be the No. 5 seed in this weekend's MAC Tournament and will face No. 4 seed Ohio on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in Kalamazoo. The Rockets are in the MAC Tournament for the third straight season.
Toledo won the first two sets, 25-23 and 25-18, to go up 2-0 in the match. The third set was never in doubt for UT, as it won 25-13 to put an emphatic end on its regular season.

What a way to end the regular season with a great win in Savage Arena in front of some our awesome Rocket fans. This will propel us to hopefully a great showing on Saturday."
