Yedam Lee and Angel Hii both in Top 20 to lead Rockets

KETTERING, Ohio – The Toledo women's golf team shot the second-best round of the day on Monday with its 291 this afternoon at Dayton's Flyer Invitational. The Rockets are tied for fourth place as a team with a team score of 597 at the par-70, 5,937-yard NCR North Course.

Junior Yedam Lee and senior Angel Hii are leading the Rockets with both sitting in the Top 20 of the individual standings. Lee is tied for 14^th place with a seven-over par 147 (73-74), while Hii is tied for 17^th place with an eight-over par 148 (78-70).

Senior Macy Hanus is tied for 29^th place at 151 (77-74), junior Kyleigh Dull (78-77) and senior Amelia Lee (82-73) are tied for 44^th place at 155.

Senior Cheryl Hong is competing as an individual and registered Toledo's best score of the day. She is tied for sixth place at four-over par 144 (71-73). Also competing as an individual is senior Kaitlyn Natividad (T-56^th/159).

Indianapolis leads the 11-team field with a 16-over par 576. Ohio State's Kailie Vongsaga is competing as an individual and leads the field with a one-over par 141.

The third and final round will begin tomorrow with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start.
