TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team will head to Mount Pleasant to play Central Michigan on Wednesday night. The contest between the Rockets (15-4, 6-2 MAC) and the Chippewas (4-15, 2-6 MAC) will tip off at 7:00 p.m. and be streamed live on ESPN+. Wednesday's game will be the lone regular-season meeting between Toledo and CMU this season.

At 6-2 in the MAC, the Rockets are one game behind Bowling Green (7-1) and Ball State (7-1) and one game ahead of Akron (5-3) and Kent State (5-3) in the conference standings.

The Rockets are coming off a come-from-behind, 79-73 overtime win at Eastern Michigan on Saturday. Toledo trailed by 12 points, 56-44, with 5:48 to play in regulation. With EMU in foul trouble, UT knocked down free throws down the stretch to slowly chip away at the deficit until a three-pointer by Sammi Mikonowicz made it a one-point game, 60-59, with 3:08 left. The Rockets did not lead until a Sophia Wiard basket with 1:48 made the score 63-62. After regulation ended with a 66-66 stalemate, Toledo outscored EMU 13-7 in overtime to pull away for the win.

The 12-point deficit was the largest Toledo has overcome to win a game this season. It also marked the second overtime win of the year after the 74-71 OT win at Cincinnati earlier this season.

Quinesha Lockett led the way for Toledo with 25 points and did most of her damage at the free throw line, knocking down 15-of-17 attempts. Her 15 free throws are a career-high and one-off the single-game school record of 16 free throws, which is held by Kim Knuth (twice) and Kim Sekulski. Lockett also added five rebounds, a team-high five assists, and three steals to help the cause.

For her efforts at EMU and vs. Miami earlier in the week, Lockett was named MAC Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Toledo returns home on Saturday, Feb. 4 to play Ohio at 2:00 p.m. To purchase tickets to Toledo women's basketball games, visit the Rocket Athletic Ticket Office at the Sullivan Athletic Complex in Savage Arena, contact the Rocket Athletic Ticket Office at 419-530-GOLD (4653) or go online to UTRockets.com/tix.
