Toledo Announces 2026-27 Mid-American Conference Schedule

Rockets begin conference slate on Saturday, Jan. 2 against Kent State
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball program's 18-game Mid-American Conference schedule was announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The Rockets' conference slate, which begins on Jan. 2 with a home game against Kent State, features nine home games and nine away games. The MAC contests include two Saturday Battle of I-75 matchups against rival Bowling Green on Jan. 23 and Feb. 27.
"The MAC continues to be one of the most competitive mid-major conferences in women's basketball," said Head Coach Ginny Boggess, who is entering her third season leading the Rockets. "I'm so excited for this year's slate. I believe our highly competitive non-conference schedule will prepare us for the rigor of the league. Conference play will be here before we know it!"
In addition to the MAC-opening matchup against Kent State, the Rockets host Akron (Jan. 9), Miami (Jan. 20), Ohio (Jan. 27), Eastern Michigan (Jan. 30), Central Michigan (Feb. 10), Buffalo (Feb. 17), Bowling Green (Feb. 27) and Ball State (March 6). With eight non-conference games on the schedule, the Rockets will host 17 contests in Savage Arena this season.
In conference play, Toledo travels to Miami (Jan. 6), Ohio (Jan. 13), Western Michigan (Jan. 16), Bowling Green (Jan. 23), Ball State (Feb. 3), Kent State (Feb. 13), UMass (Feb. 20), Akron (Feb. 24) and Eastern Michigan (March 3).
Toledo will play all five opposing schools in Ohio – Akron, Bowling Green, Kent State, Miami and Ohio – twice, in addition to Ball State and Western Michigan. The Rockets play Buffalo, Central Michigan, UMass and Western Michigan once.
The 2027 Mid-American Conference Tournament returns to Rocket Arena in Cleveland March 10-13. Toledo has reached the tournament title game each of the last two seasons.
