Toledo looks for even more success in second meet at Michigan
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's track & field team will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. for the second straight weekend to compete in the Michigan Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 14. Both track and running events will start at 11:00 a.m.
The Rockets opened their indoor season in Ann Arbor last Saturday, setting five new personal records at Michigan's Wolverine Invitational. Collecting PRs in the 60H and long jump, senior Alexia Moehling now holds the 10th-fastest indoor 60H time in Toledo history with a time of 8.99. Freshmen Laryah Worthy (400m), Khamani Jones (200m), and Paris Gosha (60m/ 200m) opened their collegiate careers with top-three finishes in their respective events. Junior Sarah-Rose Sullivan took third in the mile with a personal best time of 5:07.39. Junior Audrey Witham (mile) and sophomore Jimesha Ragland (60m) also set personal-best times in their respective events.
