TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team ended its weekend with two doubles wins against 2022 NCAA DIII finalist Case Western on the final day of the Rocket Fall Invitational at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. The Rockets combined for a 17-11 record over three days of competition. Seniors  
Luis Kleinschnitz and 
Krzysztof Wetoszka were named to the All-Tournament team.
"I think our players collected some information that'll help us form a plan to continue getting better," head coach 
Al Wermer said. "Our team atmosphere is shaping up nicely, and I think we can be pretty good."
Case Western proved to be a tough competition for Toledo, winning two doubles matches and the lone singles match. Kleinschnitz was a member of both of Toledo's winning doubles teams. Kleinschnitz and 
Max Skaer won their match 6-4 over Chris Provenzano/ Vishaw Aduru. Kleinschnitz and Wetoszka teamed up to win a 6-4 decision over James Hopper/ Sahil Dayla.
Freshman Matias Oliverio faced his first setback as a Rocket, falling to Ajay Mahenthiran, 6-1, 6-4. CWU's Hopper and Sullivan defeated 
Marko Galic and 
Vlad Meluta, 6-4, while Michael Sutanto and Casey Hishinuma defeated Galic and Skaer, 6-3.
Individually this weekend, Kleinschnitz went an undefeated 6-0, Wetoszka went 4-1, Olivero went 3-1 and Galic was 3-2.
Next up on the schedule, four Rockets will head down to Tulsa, Okla. for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championships on Oct. 1-8.
