Toledo to Compete in Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational This Weekend

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's golf team will be in University Park, Pa. this weekend to compete in Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational. The tournament will take place on Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 17-18.
The Rockets will be playing on Penn State's par-72, 6,402-yard Blue Course. Saturday's action will consist of 36 holes with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
This Week's Lineup
Toledo's lineup will consist of senior Amelia Lee at No. 1, junior Macy Hanus at No. 2, freshman Reese Jansa at No. 3, junior Angel Hii at No. 4 and sophomore Yedam Lee at No. 5.
Amelia Lee paced the Rockets at last week's season-opening Yale Invitational. She tied for 28th place at nine-over par 222, two strokes ahead of Hanus (T-36th/224). Hanus' 54-hole score was her best as a collegian.
Jansa finished in 45th place at 226 in her first collegiate tournament.
The Field
The Rockets will be competing against a 16-team field that includes Boston College, Bradley, Bucknell, Butler, Central Michigan, Columbia, Eastern Kentucky, High Point, Kennesaw State, Penn State, Richmond, Seton Hall, Towson, Navy and Youngstown State

Toledo is idle until Oct. 10-11 when it hosts the Rocket Classic for a second-consecutive year at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, Ohio.
