TOLEDO, Ohio – For the third time this season, Toledo's Kyle Jones has been named MAC Pitcher of the Week. He shares the award this week with Ball State's Tyler Schweitzer.

Jones played a big role in two of Toledo's three victories last week, earning the save in last Wednesday's win over Miami and earning the win in Saturday's series opener against Bowling Green. Against the RedHawks, Jones made his first relief appearance of the season and pitched a scoreless top of the ninth while striking out two to earn his first career save. In the series opener against Bowling Green, Jones threw six innings of one-run ball while striking out six and walking none.

The Rockets play Bowling Green again on Tuesday night at Fifth Third Field before returning to Scott Park to host Northern Illinois for a four-game series this weekend.
