BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Toledo shot a 17-over par 315 on Sunday to maintain its eighth-place standing in the final round of the Indiana Invitational. The tournament was played at the par-72, 6,133-yard Pfau Course at Indiana University.
Junior
Amelia Lee registered the Rockets' best round of the day with a three-over par 75 and led the way for Toledo by tying for 24
th place at 15-over par 231.
Sophomore
Angel Hii recorded Toledo's second-best round of the day with a six-over par 78 and tied for 36
th place at 22-over par 238 along with sophomore
Cheryl Hong.
Freshman
Yedam Lee tied for 30
th place at 19-over par 235, while sophomore
Macy Hanus tied for 52
nd place at 29-over par 245.
Michigan captured the team title by 14 shots over Wisconsin. The Wolverines' Ashley Lau earned medalist honors at eight-under par 208, 11 strokes in front of her nearest competitor.
The Rockets will now set their sights on hosting the Mid-American Conference Championships on April 22-24. The 54-hole tournament will take place at Stone Oak Country Club in Holland, Ohio.
