Rockets to Compete in Spring Break Shootout Monday & Tuesday

TOLEDO, Ohio –The Toledo women's golf team will be in Dade City, Fla. early next week to compete in the Spring Break Shootout. The tournament will be held on Monday-Tuesday, March 14-15 at the par-71, 6,056-yard Lake Jovita Golf Club.
Play will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start each day with live scoring available at Golfstat.com.
Joining the Rockets in the field are Akron, Albany, Ball State, Daytona State, FGCU, James Madison, Loyola Chicago, Morehead State, Oakland, Ohio, Seminole State, Stetson, St. John's, Troy and Western Kentucky.
Toledo's lineup will include freshman Yedam Lee at No. 1, sophomore Cheryl Hong at No. 2, junior Amelia Lee at No. 3, sophomore Angel Hii at No. 4 and sophomore Kaitlyn Natividad at No. 5. Sophomore Macy Hanus and junior Kathryn Roth are competing as individuals.
Yedam Lee is coming off a strong performance at the Tchefuncta Invitational in Covington, La. She received Mid-American Conference Player of the Week after tying for fifth place with a career-best nine-over par 222. She carded a career-low two-over par 73 in her final 18 holes and also shot a three-over par 74 in the opening 18 holes.
