Rockets Heading to Louisiana for Tchefuncta Invitational

TOLEDO, Ohio –The Toledo women's golf team will travel to Covington, La. early next week for the Tchefuncta Invitational. The tournament will be held on Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 21-22 at the par-71, 6,044-yard Tchefuncta Country Club.
Play will begin with a 9:00 a.m. (ET) shotgun start each day with live scoring available at Golfstat.com.
Joining the Rockets in the field are UAB, Incarnate Word, Little Rock, Louisiana Monroe, Murray State, Southern Mississippi, UT Arlington, Tulane and host South Alabama.
Toledo's lineup will include sophomore Angel Hii at No. 1, freshman Yedam Lee at No. 2, junior Amelia Lee at No. 3, sophomore Macy Hanus at No. 4 and sophomore Kaitlyn Natividad at No. 5.
The Tchefuncta Invitational will be the Rockets' first stroke play event this spring. Toledo posted a 1-2 record at the Mid-American Match Play Challenge on Feb. 7-8.
