Last Time Out
Toledo went 1-1 last weekend, winning at Miami before falling at Bowling Green in the Battle of I-75.

The Rockets dropped the first set and trailed Miami early, but bounced back to win the next three sets to clinch the match. Toledo's win at Miami on Friday was its second-ever road win in Oxford, with the last coming in 2006. Taylor Alt led the charge with 17 kills and a .350 attack percentage on Friday, and Olivia Vance contributed 11 kills while hitting .556. Payton Morman paced the offensive attack with 44 assists, while Vance and Jada Bouyer tied for the team lead with three blocks apiece.

The Rockets bounced back from a loss in the first set to win an epic second set, 30-28, to even the match at 1-1. However, the Falcons proceeded to hit .321 and .450 in the final two sets to win Saturday's rivalry matchup. Taylor Alt tied for the match high with 16 kills and added a career-best six blocks. Olivia Vance collected 10 kills and three blocks, while Rhyenne Filisi tallied seven kills and five rejections. Payton Morman registered 41 assists and Ryann Jaqua (16) and Sina Uluave (12) both reached double figures in digs.

The Rockets have held opponents to an attack percentage of .200 or lower 14 times and have held an opponent to an attack percentage less than .100 four times. In MAC play, Toledo is holding its opponents to an identical .198 attack percentage.
  • The Rockets have done damage at the service line this year, ranking third in the MAC in aces/set (1.62). That figure has sits at 1.79 aces/set in conference play, tops in the league. Taylor Alt leads Toledo in aces (0.31/set).
  • Taylor Alt leads the MAC in scoring (4.65 points/set) and kills (4.04/set). One of the most prolific outside hitters in the country, she ranks 11th among active players in career kills/set (3.99).
  • Ryann Jaqua sits at 1,569 career digs, good for third all-time in program history. She is 168 digs away from passing Lora Sarich (1,736, 2003-06) to move into second place. Current assistant coach Maurissa Leonard is Toledo's all-time leader in career digs with 2,260.
  • Overall, Jaqua is averaging 5.15 digs/set this year, which ranks third in the MAC and 17th in the country.
About Ohio
Ohio enters the weekend as one of the hottest teams in the MAC, having won six straight matches.
