Toledo Gears Up for Conference Action at MAC Indoors

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team will continue its fall schedule this weekend in Kalamazoo, Mich. for the MAC Indoor Tournament on the campus of Western Michigan University (Friday-Sunday, Nov. 4-6).
"This is a nice challenge to measure ourselves a bit after our first couple of months," head coach Al Wermer said. "All the MAC teams are so close that a couple of shots here and there can be momentous."
Toledo will compete in singles and doubles competition against Mid-American Conference opponents Buffalo, Ball State, Binghamton, Northern Illinois, and reigning MAC Champion Western Michigan.
Most recently, junior Pawit Sornlaksup advanced to the Round of 16 in the singles main draw before being eliminated from the 2022 ITA Midwest Regional Championship. Altogether, Toledo went a combined 15-15 over four days at the tournament in Champaign, Ill. on Oct. 20-23.
