Toledo Prepares for Indoor Rocket Invite

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team will take the court one more time this fall season for its Indoor Rocket Invite, featuring Cleveland State, Bowling Green and Youngstown State. The four teams will go head-to-head in singles and doubles matches on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 28-29 at Twos Athletic Club.
The Rockets will see the Vikings and Penguins during the spring for dual matches the third week of January, and the Falcons twice in April during conference play.

Toledo seniors Sloane Teske and Mariona Perez, along with juniors Cassie Alcala and Shalini Tallamraju spent last weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional Championships in Ann Arbor. As a team, the Rockets produced a combined 9-6 record against some of the top ranked Division I players in the country. Alcala and Tallamraju made it to the Round of 32 in the singles main draw, a first for the program, before they were eliminated.
