TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's volleyball team heads to Morehead State for a tournament this weekend. The Rockets will face the host Eagles on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. before playing Marshall on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m.
Toledo's (8-2) match with Morehead State (3-5) will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Toledo won ia midweek non-conference battle on Tuesday night, beating Purdue Fort Wayne in three sets.

Taylor Alt led all comers with 15 kills, including six in the final set. Junior
Ryann Jaqua added 14 digs, while freshman
Elaine Redman and sophomore
Payton Morman recorded 19 and 16 assists, respectively. Junior
Olivia Vance tallied seven kills while hitting .545 and added four blocks.

- Taylor Alt has been arguably the most productive player in the MAC this season, where she leads the league in scoring (4.65 points/set) and kills/set (3.78). She has been effective at the service line as well, leading all conference players in service aces/set (0.53).
- Alt is getting it done in the classroom as well. The sophomore outside hitter was named the MAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.
-  Ryann Jaqua sits second in the league in digs/set (4.85). Jaqua has four matches with at least 20 digs this season.
- Rhyen Neal is close to cracking the Top 10 all-time in career digs at Toledo. She currently has 1,168, just 12 behind Bitsy Mayhle (1999-02, 1,180) for the 10th spot.
- Olivia Vance has registered at least four blocks in four of her last five matches.
- Rhyenne Filisi has hit at least .300 in six of her seven matches played this season. She tallied nine kills and hit .350 on Tuesday at Purdue Fort Wayne.
About Morehead State
Tournament host Morehead State is 3-5 this season, having faced two ranked teams thus far: No. 22 Pepperdine and No. 23 Tennessee (twice). Olivia Lohmeier (4.66 kills/set) and Abby Huisman (3.66 kills/set) are two of the five most productive offensive threats in the Ohio Valley Conference. Allison Whitten (4.52 digs/set) leads the Eagles defensively in the back row.
About Marshall
Marshall is 3-7 coming into the weekend after going 1-3 at a tournament hosted by Southeast Missouri State last weekend. The Thundering Herd will play both Morehead State and No. 4 Pittsburgh before facing the Rockets on Saturday. Clara Debell leads the way offensively, averaging 3.23 kills/set. While Sarah Schank (4.77 digs/set), Destiny Leon (1.36 blocks/set), and Lydia Montague (1.33 blocks/set) provide excellent production on the defensive end.
