ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Toledo women's golf team opened its 2021-22 season on Monday at Michigan's Wolverine Invitational. The Rockets are in 16^th place in the team standings with a 36-hole score of 638.

The tournament features 12 schools that were ranked in the Top 60 of last year's final Golfstat rankings and is being played at the par-71, 6,232-yard U-M Golf Course.

Junior Amelia Lee is leading the way for the Rockets at 14-over par 156 (80-76) and tied sophomore Angel Hii (76-85=161) for the team's best round of the day.

Also competing for Toledo are sophomore Cheryl Hong (80-78=158), freshman Yedam Lee (80-83=163) and sophomore Macy Hanus (82-93=175).

The final round of the tournament will be held tomorrow with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.
