CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Toledo women's golf team concluded play at the Chattanooga Classic on Tuesday afternoon. The tournament was played at the par-72, 6,159-yard Black Creek Club.

"The golf course at Black Creek presented a challenge we don't often see in Ohio with lots of elevation changes, mountains and valleys that impact how putts roll and so forth," Head Coach Jenny Coluccio said. "It was nice to see the ladies keep making adjustments to the course as well as compete against teams we don't face often."

Freshman Angel Hii topped the Rockets for a third-straight tournament by tying for 38^th place at 18-over par 234.

Sophomore Amelia Lee tied for 55th place at 242 and was followed by freshman Macy Hanus (61^st/245), freshman Kait Natividad (67^th/255) and sophomore Claudia Sampson (70^th/273).

Sophomore Kathryn Roth (71st/285) competed as an individual.

East Tennessee State captured the tournament title at 23-over par 887, seven strokes in front of Chattanooga and Iowa. The Buccaneers' Tereza Melecka earned medalist honors with a 54-hole total of four-under par 212.

Toledo returns to action on Saturday and Sunday, April 10-11 when it competes in Bowling Green's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.
