DADE CITY, Fla. – Toledo wrapped up its second tournament of the season on Tuesday with an 11th-place showing at The Spring Break Shootout in Dade City, Fla. The tournament was held at the par-71, 6,056-yard Lake Jovita South Course.
"I'm proud of the resilience our team showed the last two days," Head Coach Jenny Coluccio said. "We saw a lot of good golf. These women are learning more and more about their games and themselves every round we play. We have seen improvement and growth; we are just scratching the surface."
Freshman Angel Hii posted another Top 15 finish to lead the Rockets for a second consecutive tournament. She tied for 10th place with a four-over par 217 (69-71-77).
"I tried to keep things simple and trust my own instincts and club selections," Hii said. "I also stuck to my routine and pace throughout the tournament."
