Rockets Heading to Sunshine State for Spring Break Shootout

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's golf team will compete in the fourth-annual Spring Break Shootout at the par-71, 6,056-yard Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, Fla., on Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament will begin on Monday with 36 holes being played with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The final round will be held on Tuesday.

Toledo's lineup will consist of freshman Angel Hii at No. 1, sophomore Amelia Lee at No. 2, freshman Cheryl Hong at No. 3, freshman Macy Hanus at No. 4 and freshman Kait Natividad at No. 5. Sophomore Claudia Sampson will be competing as an individual.

Toledo is one of five Mid-American Conference schools scheduled to compete in the Shootout. Joining the Rockets in the 15-team field are Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green and Ohio as well as Daytona State College, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia State, Loyola (Chicago), Morehead State, North Florida, Oakland, Seminole State, Troy and host Western Kentucky.
