Rockets Conclude First Day at Linger Longer Invitational

GREENSBORO, Ga. – Toledo concluded Friday's opening round in 15th place at this weekend's Linger Longer Invitational. The tournament is being played at the par-72, 7,436-yard Great Waters Golf Course.
Sophomore NJ Botha is leading the Rockets with a one-over par 73 and tied for 28th place. Freshman Barend Botha is one stroke behind his older brother at two-over par 74 and tied for 34th place.
Rounding out the Rocket lineup are junior David Amm (T-57th/76), senior Nate Thomson (T-64th/77) and sophomore Palmer Yenrick (T-81st/82).
Georgia Tech is leading the 16-team field at five-under 283.
The second and third round of the tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
