EAST LANSING, Mich. – Toledo's run at the ITA Midwest Regional came to an end Saturday following sophomore Pawit Sornlaksup's defeat in the singles main draw.

Sornlaksup began singles competition in the main draw as the representative for Toledo and was defeated by Michigan's Patrick Malony (6-7, 6-4, 6-1). Sornlaksup finished a combined 1-2 across three matches this weekend.

"Pawit had a nice start and made it a real fight," head coach Al Wermer said, "but eventually Patrick reduced some errors and tightened up his game a bit, but it was just too much this time for him."

Toledo will be back on the court in team competition for the Mid-American Conference Indoors, Nov. 5-7 in Kalamazoo, Mich.
