Rockets Look to Close Out Season With Win Over CMU

Toledo, Ohio – The Toledo Rockets will close out the 2020 regular season with a chance to finish with a winning record when they host Central Michigan at the Glass Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 12 (3:00 p.m./ESPN3).
Both the Rockets and Chippewas are out of the race for the MAC West Division title, but the winner of the contest will finish in a tie for second place. Western Michigan and Ball State (both 4-1) are playing for the division title in a matchup in Muncie.
Toledo (3-2, 3-2 MAC) is coming off a 41-24 victory at Northern Illinois on Dec. 5. Sophomore quarterback Carter Bradley threw for a career-high 432 yards and three touchdowns to lead Toledo. It was Toledo's first win in DeKalb since 2006
Bradley, filling in for the injured Eli Peters, completed 29-of-44 passes and added 44 yards rushing. Bradley led the Rockets to a season-high 614 yards of total offense.
Central Michigan (3-2, 3-2 MAC) lost its home finale to Ball State, 45-20, at Kelly/Shorts Stadium last Saturday. Junior quarterback Ty Brock, who was making his first start as a Chippewa in place of the injured Daniel Richardson, threw for 188 yards and two touchdowns but was sacked four times and intercepted twice.
