Toledo Football Set for 2026 Home Season with Full Slate of Promotional Themes

TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo will bring a full slate of promotions, traditions, special recognitions, giveaways and celebrations to the Glass Bowl throughout the 2026 home football season.

Each home game will offer something unique for fans, beginning with the 'Biggest Party in Toledo' in the season opener and continuing through the annual Battle of I-75 rivalry game against Bowling Green to close out the regular season home slate.

First Responder Appreciation Day
Greek Day

The Rockets kick off the home schedule with the 'Biggest Party in Toledo,' bringing students, alumni and fans together for the first game at the Glass Bowl. The opener will also recognize first responders as part of a special commemoration marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and Toledo's Greek student life community.

Dance Clinic Pre-Game Performance
Extra Yard for Teachers

The Glass Bowl will be filled with music as bands from throughout the region join the Rocket Marching Band for Band Day. Fans will also be treated to a pregame performance from participants in the Toledo Football Dance Clinic. Educators and administrators from across the community will be recognized in conjunction with Extra Yard for Teachers.

Youth Sports Day
Cheer Clinic

UToledo Family Weekend returns to the Glass Bowl, giving Rocket families and supporters an opportunity to come together on campus and cheer on the Rockets. The game will also spotlight young athletes from across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan as part of Youth Sports Day. Participants in the cheer clinic will take the field for a special halftime performance.

Homecoming
T-Shirt Giveaway

Homecoming takes over campus as one of Toledo's signature weekends returns to the Glass Bowl. Festivities will include the traditional Homecoming parade, while fans attending the football game will have the opportunity to receive a special Toledo Football t-shirt, available while supplies last.

Senior Day
Rocky's 60th Birthday Celebration
Oktoberfest at the Glass Bowl

The Rockets will recognize the 2026 senior class during a special pregame Senior Day ceremony. The game will also celebrate 60 years of Rocky, Toledo's beloved mascot. Before kickoff, fans can take part in Oktoberfest at the Glass Bowl, featuring German-themed food and beverages and limited edition Rocket Football steins while supplies lasts.

Salute to Service

Toledo Football will pay tribute to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces during its annual Salute to Service game. Military-themed activations, recognitions and tributes will be featured throughout the pregame and game-day experience.

Friday, Nov. 20 vs. Bowling Green, 7:30 p.m.
Battle of I-75
Special Edition Challenge Coin Add-On

The Rockets close the regular-season home schedule with one of the most anticipated matchups of the year as Bowling Green visits the Glass Bowl for the Battle of I-75. Fans will have the chance to add a special-edition Battle of I-75 challenge coin to their game-day experience. The Challenge Coin purchase will provide fans with the opportunity for a post-game photo on the field.

Tickets and Stadium Club Seats

The Rockets' home opener – "The Biggest Party in Toledo" – against Central Connecticut State is set for Saturday, Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+.

Season tickets for the 2026 season are available online, by calling or texting 419-530-GOLD (4653), or by visiting the Rocket Ticket Office at the Sullivan Athletic Complex. Three-game mini-plans are also on sale.
