When did you first start playing volleyball?
I started playing volleyball in fourth grade when I played on a recreational team.

What's your earliest volleyball memory?
When I started playing rec volleyball, my mom was an assistant coach.

What is your favorite thing about being a volleyball player?
I love being able to dig a ball so my teammates can put it away.

Why did you decide to come to the University of Toledo to play volleyball?
I really liked how the team felt like a big family. Everyone has such good chemistry together.

­­Who is your role model?
My dad. He always pushes me to be my best self. He's a very outgoing guy and he loves to talk and meet with new people.

What is your major and why did you choose it?
I'm majoring in business, I'm especially interested in finance. I love working with numbers.

What do you want to do after graduation?
I'd like to further my education and become a CPA.

What are your hobbies, outside of sports?
Instead of playing volleyball, I like to play golf and tennis. I also like creating art or just chilling and watching some Netflix.

Do you have a nickname and, if so, how did you get it?
My two nicknames are Abz and Aray. Aray runs in the family. Abz is just sort for Abby.

What is your dream vacation spot?
On a beach soaking in the sun.

What is the best concert you've ever been to?
Taylor Swift.

What celebrity would you choose to play yourself in a movie?
Jennifer Lawrence.

What is the best piece of advice you've ever gotten?
Nothing is ever given to you. You have to earn it.
