When did you first start playing volleyball?
I first started officially playing when I was 10, but my mom coached at a local high school and I was always running around trying to play with the older girls.
What's your earliest volleyball memory?
My earliest memory was my first year of club when I was 10 playing on a 12s team as a libero being called "Baby Fogg" because my spandex looked like shorts.
What is your favorite thing about being a volleyball player?
I love playing a team sport, but also having different positions that all have unique jobs and goals to perform in order for the team to succeed. I also love the competitive edge the sport of volleyball offers.
Why did you decide to come to the University of Toledo to play volleyball?
I decided to come to Toledo because I felt at home when I was on campus and I liked the distance from home. I also loved the team and facilities.
What do you love the most about being a Toledo Rocket?
I love being able to proudly wear the Midnight Blue and Gold, knowing we will give any team a good fight and let them know who we are.
Who are your role models?
My mom and dad. They both played college sports which inspired me to pursue a college career and now I get to watch them be the best parents to my three siblings and me.
Â
What is your favorite spot on campus?
I love the 3rd floor of the library right by the windows because I like being able to study but still see outside.
What is your major and why did you choose it?
Psych pre-med. I chose this major because psychology was my favorite class in high school and I have always loved the idea of studying medicine. As a kid I would always love to watch doctor shows and would ask a million questions whenever I went to the doctor.
What is the most interesting class you've taken at Toledo?
Biology 2170, I took this first semester and it was interesting because we studied the small aspect of cells and how they function in relation to the larger body systems.
What do you want to do after graduation?
I plan to attend medical school. I potentially want to take a gap year to travel and have fun before starting at least four more years of school.
What is the best concert you've ever been to?
Buckeye Country Superfest. It's hosted in Ohio State's football stadium and a lot of big name country performers go every year.
