When did you first start playing volleyball?
I started playing volleyball when I was in fourth grade.
What's your earliest volleyball memory?
One of my earliest memories was when I finally was able to overhand serve instead of underhand serve during a match at the end of my fourth grade season.
What is your favorite thing about being a volleyball player?
I love how volleyball is super competitive and fun while also giving me a supportive team that is like one big family.
Why did you decide to come to the University of Toledo to play volleyball?
I decided to come to Toledo because I love the campus and this team. I'm also able to pursue a nursing degree while getting to play the sport I love.
What do you love the most about being a Toledo Rocket?
I love being in public wearing Toledo gear and someone will say to me "T-O-L" and I get to respond "E-D-O!"
Who are your role models?
My biggest role model is my mom because she is so incredibly strong and kind.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus would have to be the engineering building. I am not an engineering major, but they have a great food place called Freshens which has amazing smoothies.
What is your major and why did you choose it?
I chose nursing as a major because I am interested in helping people through healthcare and there are many wonderful nurses in my family.
What is the most interesting class you've taken at Toledo?
Current International Problems was an interesting class because we did a simulation similar to Model UN where we acted as countries with diplomats and responded to different situations.
What do you want to do after graduation?
I want to pursue higher level education in graduate school, possibly as a nurse practitioner.
Not including volleyball, what is your favorite sport to watch?
My favorite sport to watch would have to be basketball.
What is your favorite professional sports team?
Indiana Pacers.
What is your favorite restaurant in Toledo?
Rice Blvd has amazing sushi right on campus.
What is the best piece of advice you've ever gotten?
Stop comparing yourself to others because comparison is the thief of joy.
