Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo men's tennis team landed seven Rockets on the Mid-American Conference Academic All-MAC Team, the league announced on Tuesday.
Seniors
Vince Anzalone,
Juan Carranza,
Omar Espinosa,
Serjen Olmedo, and
Luka Vitosevic, as well as juniors
Thawin Suksathaporn and
Danilo Vukotic earned the honor by maintaining GPAs above a 3.20 cumulative grade point average.
Anzalone, Carranza, Olmedo, and Vitosevic have earned spots on the Academic All-MAC squad three years in a row. This also marks the second consecutive year for Suksathaporn and Vukotic being named to the academic team.
Twenty-seven student-athletes were named to this year's Academic All-MAC Team, with Toledo leading the conference with seven honorees. Nominees must have a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average to be eligible for the team.
