Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's track and field team heads to Ann Arbor, Mich. for the Len Paddock Open on Friday. Field events begin at 10:00 a.m. and track events begin at noon.

Katie Dewey led Toledo in the throws category with first-place finishes and MAC qualifying tosses in the shot put (15.50m, PR) and discus (49.92m, PR). Fellow senior
Janelle Noe also posted a MAC qualifying time in the 1500 meters, stopping the clock at 4:25.03 to take third. Junior
Yana Khabina garnered an event victory in the 400m hurdles, stopping the clock at 1:01.97. As a team, Toledo tallied three MAC qualifying marks, 22 top-10 finishes, and 13 personal-bests on the weekend.

Competition at the Len Paddock Open will be the Rockets' final tune-up before they venture to Muncie, Ind. for the Mid-American Conference Championships on Thursday, May 9 - Saturday, May 11.
