
Senior Luka Vitosevic was named First Team All-MAC on Wednesday by the Mid-American Conference.

Toledo, Ohio - Senior men's tennis player Luka Vitosevic garnered First-Team All-MAC honors from the Mid-American Conference for the 2019 season, the league announced Wednesday.
The Belgrade, Serbia native posted a 10-8 dual match record (3-3 MAC) from the No. 1 singles court. Vitosevic clinched regular season victories for the Rockets against Chicago State and Ball State, finishing off his opponents in three-set battles on both occasions. Vitosevic also produced the Rockets' sole points against Big-10 contender Purdue and MAC foe Northern Illinois.
In doubles play, Vitosevic went 8-7 in dual match play (2-3 MAC) with fellow senior Omar Espinosa on the No. 1 court.
Over the course of the season, Vitosevic earned three Singles Player of the Week nods from the MAC on Jan. 16, March 27, and April 17 for his performances against Purdue, Ball State, Western Michigan and Northern Illinois, respectively.
Vitosevic is a finance major and will graduate this spring.
