Men’s Tennis Inks Two More for 2019-20 Season

Toledo, Ohio – University of Toledo men's tennis coach Al Wermer announced the signing of Luis Kleinschnitz (Eichenau, Germany) and Aleksa Ciric (Bela Palanka, Serbia) today. Kleinschnitz and Ciric will be joining the Rockets as true freshmen for the 2019-20 season.
"These two guys fit in with our plans here very well," said Wermer. "They are tough, coachable, and hungry. They love the game and they can contribute immediately. They will be part of a terrific recruiting class."
Kleinschnitz and Ciric will be joining Max Skaer (Swansea, Ill.), who signed with the Rockets in February.Â

Luis Kleinschnitz
High School: Fachhochschule Fürstenfeldbruck
Hometown: Eichenau, Germany
Anticipated Major: Exercise Science
Wermer on Kleinschnitz: "I met Luis in Cologne, Germany. He's very sturdy and powerful. His work habits and motivation are impeccable. He will do anything to improve and to help his team."

Aleksa Ciric
High School: Niketa Remezijanski
Hometown: Bela Palanka, Serbia
Anticipated Major: Undecided
Wermer on Ciric: "Aleksa comes highly recommended as an experienced, physical, resilient player with an attacking forehand that is definitely the cornerstone of his big game." Â
