Toledo, Ohio— Sunday's doubleheader between the Toledo baseball team and Western Michigan has been cancelled.
The doubleheader had been scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. at Mercy Field after heavy rain on Saturday drowned out any chances of playing that day. Overnight snowfall and cold temperatures made baseball impossible for the Rockets and Broncos on Sunday.
The two cancelled games will not be rescheduled. Western Michigan won the only game played during the weekend series, a 6-3 win over UT on Friday.
The Rockets' next game will be on Wednesday, April 3 against Michigan.
