STOW, Ohio – The Toledo women's golf team tied for the best round of the day and is tied for third place in the team standings following Monday's play in the MAC Preview at the par-72, 6,277-yard Silver Lake Country Club.

The Rockets bounced back from a team score of 325 in their first 18 holes by carding a 308 in Round 2. Toledo is tied for third with Ball State at 633. First-place Akron also notched a 308 in the second round, and the Zips' 36-hole total of 627 is three strokes better than Eastern Michigan's 630.

"The hole locations are tricky and the greens have a lot of slope in them," Head Coach
Jenny Coluccio said. "Staying below the hole was key, and the team did a great job today of adjusting from the first to second round."
Kent State's Sitanun Jonglikit leads all individuals at four-over par 148 and holds a three-stroke lead over teammate Julia Goodson.

Saranlak Tumfong is leading the Rockets at 10-over par 154 and is tied for sixth place in the individual standings. She enjoyed her most success on the par-five holes, where she is a tournament-best two-under par.

Thunpijja Sukkasem is two shots behind Tumfong at 12-over par 156, while freshman
Amelia Lee is tied for 19
th place at 15-over par 159. The remainder of the Rockets' lineup includes senior

Claudia Sampson is competing as an individual and is tied for 37
th place at 21-over par 165.
