STOW, Ohio – Seniors Saranlak Tumfong and Thunpijja Sukkasem each registered Top-10 finishes on Tuesday to help the Toledo women's golf team to a fourth-place showing in the MAC Preview. The tournament was held at the par-72, 6,277-yard Silver Lake Country Club in Stow, Ohio, the site of the 2020 Mid-American Conference Championships.

Tumfong tied for third place at 13-over par 229, while Sukkasem tied for ninth place at 18-over par 234. Tumfong led all golfers in the event on par-five holes at two-under par, while Sukkasem tied Tumfong for the second-most birdies on the team with four.

Freshman Amelia Lee (245) led the Rockets with five birdies and tied for 29^th place. The remainder of the Toledo lineup consisted of senior Donchanok Toburint (T-34^th/246) and freshman Kathryn Roth (T-43^rd/267).

Freshman Claudia Sampson (251) competed as an individual and tied for 37^th place.

Eastern Michigan captured the tournament title with a 78-over par 942, five shots in front of Akron (947) and seven ahead of Ball State (949). The Rockets were just five strokes behind the Cardinals.

Kent State's Sitanun Jonglikit earned medalist honors by shooting six-over par 222, six strokes in front of her nearest competitor.

Toledo is back in action in two weeks when it wraps up its fall with a trip to Birmingham, Mich. for the Chippewa Invitational on Oct. 21-22.
