TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's soccer team (7-11-0, 4-6-0 MAC) welcomes Bowling Green (11-5-2, 9-1-0 MAC) to Paul Hotmer Field on Thursday, Oct. 31 for a 3 p.m. match that could decide the Rockets' fate in the upcoming Mid-American Conference Tournament.
"Bowling Green is a good team and we are looking forward to the challenge on Thursday," said head coach TJ Buchholz. "We got a great road win on Sunday and now are looking forward to being at home for the final regular season game."
If the Rockets defeat the Falcons on Thursday, they will enter the tournament as the No. 7 or No. 8 seed, depending on the outcome of the Central Michigan - Eastern Michigan game Thursday evening. A loss or tie would not necessarily eliminate Toledo from the tournament, but the Rockets would need the results from the EMU, Kent State and Miami contest to go in Toledo's favor.Â
