"The conditions today were very challenging with wind that our freshman haven't ever experienced before," Head Coach
Jenny Coluccio said. "It was quite difficult to control the ball. Everyone had great attitudes and determination to embrace what we were given today. A big learning day and one of our best mentally tough days as a whole team. We had hoped to close it out a bit stronger with scores but the process was right there. This entire fall has been filled with learning and improvement. We hoped for the scores to show it, and it's so very close to happening. This off-season will be a great time to really make strides in different ways individually to have it come together as a whole in the spring."
Toledo begins its spring season with a pair of tournaments in Florida. The Rockets will compete in South Florida's Old Friends Invitational on Feb. 17-18 followed by the Florida State Match-Up on Feb. 29-Mar. 1.
