Toledo Continues Play at Saint Mary's Invitational

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Sophomore Grant Godfrey carded a team-best one-over par 72 on Tuesday to lead Toledo after two rounds of the Saint Mary's Invitational. The tournament is being played at the par-71, 6,945-yard Poppy Hills Golf Club and includes five teams ranked in Golfstat's Top 50 computer rankings.
Toledo is in 18th place in the team standings at 33-over par 601. BYU is in first place at 19-under par 549 (271-278) and leads second-place Pepperdine by 14 strokes. The Cougars' Peter Kuest holds a seven-shot lead in the race for medalist honors with a 12-under par 130 (61-69).
Godfrey closed out his round with his third birdie of the day and is tied for 42nd place at four-over par 146 (74-72).
Senior Duncan McNeill (75-74) and junior Rasmus Broholt Lind (71-78) are tied for 59th place at seven-over par 149.
Rounding out the Rocket lineup are senior Spencer Shoemaker in 102nd place at 19-over par 161 (79-82) and sophomore Jack Boczar in 103rd place at 21-over par 163 (85-78).
Sophomore Dylan Van Fossen is competing as an individual and tied for 92nd place at 14-over par 156 (76-80).
