Rockets Head to 128th Annual Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament

Toledo, OH – Toledo (8-6) will travel to La Jolla, CA this weekend to take part in the 128th Annual Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament on March 2-5. The Rockets will first match up against Boise State on Thursday, March 2 at 1:00 p.m. (PST) at the San Diego Tennis and Racquet Club before heading to La Jolla.
Other teams participating in the tournament include Boston College, Cal Berkley, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Oregon State, Penn State, Pepperdine, San Diego, San Diego State, Stanford, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, UCLA, USC, Villanova and William & Mary.
"Boise's Head Coach, Greg Patton, is my friend and idol," said Head Coach Al Wermer. "I think that he is one of the greatest coaches there is out of any sport. It will be an honor to finally play his team head-to-head. This tourney is steeped in tradition and glamor. I want our players to be grateful for this amazing opportunity."
