Toledo Falls to Louisville, 7-0

Louisville, KY – Toledo's six-match winning streak was snapped on Saturday morning by Louisville, 7-0. Toledo falls to 8-6 on the season, while Louisville improves to 8-3.
"I especially loved our effort at No. 3 doubles," said head coach Al Wermer. "Overall, this match can serve as a good reminder for us as to the challenges to come later in the season."
Louisville jumped ahead by notching the doubles point. The No. 37-ranked duo of Sean Donohue and Parker Wynn bested senior Stjepan Sisko and freshman Thawin Suksathaporn, 6-1. Sophomores Vince Anzalone and Serjen Olmedo were defeated by Louisville, 6-2, at second doubles, ending a seven-match win streak.
Sophomore Luka Vitosevic was the only Rocket to extend his match into three sets. Vitosevic jumped in front of Ciro Lampasas, 6-2, in the opening set. Lampasas answered back with a 6-3 victory in Set 2. Vitosevic came up on the short end of a 11-9 battle in the third-set tiebreaker.
