Rockets Sit in Eighth Place Following Day One of Central District Invitational

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – Sophomore Pinyada Kuvanun is tied for seventh place at three-over par 147 to lead Toledo following Monday's first two rounds of the Central District Invitational. Kuvanun's play has helped the Rockets sit in eighth place in the 14-team field.
Freshman Saranlak Tumfong and sophomore Pimchanok Kawil are both in the tournament's Top 35 and tied for 30th and 32nd place with scores of nine-over par 153 (76-77) and 10-over par 154 (78-76), respectively. Rounding out the Rocket lineup are junior Napaphan  Phongpaiboon (T-60th/84-78=162) and freshman Thunpijja Sukkasem (T-62nd/79-84-163).
Furman leads the tournament at five-under par 571 (282-289) and has three individuals in the top four on the leaderboard.
The final round of the tournament will be held tomorrow morning.
