PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – Toledo registered its best round of the tournament with an 11-over par 299 in Tuesday's final round of the Central District Invitational to post an eighth-place finish at the event. Sophomore Pinyada Kuvanun paced the Rockets in the tourney by tying for seventh place at five-over par 221 (74-73-74).

Sophomore Pimchanok Kawil posted UT's best round of the day with a two-under par 70 en route to an 18^th-place tie at 10-over par 224 (78-76-70). Freshman Saranlak Tumfong also enjoyed a strong tournament for Toledo by tying for 30^th place at 13-over par 229 (76-77-76).

Rounding out the Rocket lineup were freshman Thunpijja Sukkasem (T-62^nd/79-84-79=242) and junior Napaphan Phongpaiboon (T-66^th/84-78-81=243).

Furman captured the tournament title at even-par 864 (282-289-293), finishing 23 strokes in front of Memphis (301-299-287=867). The Paladins' Alice Chen captured medalist honors at one-under par 215 (70-71-74).

Toledo returns to action on Saturday-Sunday, March 4-5 with a trip to Sedona, AZ for the Red Rocks Invitational.
