Rockets Continue MAC Slate With Final Two Home Matches

TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo women's tennis team will host its final two home matches of the season on April 8 and 10 against Northern Illinois and Western Michigan. UT will battle the Huskies on Friday at 1:00 p.m. and then face off against the Chippewas on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Sunday's match will also be senior day for Mackenzie Bowman, Emily Mazzola and Lauren Thai.

"This is a huge weekend for the players. We lost to both of these teams last season and so the players are motivated to even the score. This week, we've worked a lot on our energy, focus and the things we can control," said head coach Tracy Mauntler.

The Rockets split last weekend's matches with Bowling Green and Miami. Toledo defeated the Falcons, 6-1, in its conference home opener, then dropped a 6-1 decision to the reigning MAC Champions, Miami.

Following this weekend, UT will first travel to Eastern Michigan on April 15 and then to Ball State on April 23 to close out the regular season.
