Toledo Falls to Bowling Green, 111-86 at BGSU Dual

Bowling Green, OH –The Toledo track & field program fell to Bowling Green, 111-86, on Friday, April 1 at the BGSU Dual.

Scoring for the event was 5,3,2,1 in individual events and 5,3 in relay events. Only two individual entries and one relay per school could pick up points.

Five Rockets picked up victories during the dual. Junior Madeline Pacella won the high jump with a personal best 1.70m jump. Freshman Alissa Jenkins won the pole vault with an outdoor-best 3.20m jump and junior Maja Pacaric won the 1500m with a time of 4:45.92.

Two throwers also picked up victories and personal bests. Freshman Anna Bellman won her first collegiate javelin toss with a throw of 33.74m. Bellman also threw a personal best in the discus at 37.96m and hammer throw at 43.88m. Senior Kyesha Neal won the discus with a PR of 46.53m.

Nine Rockets also picked up three points each with second-place finishes.

Toledo will be back in action in two weekends at the Ball State Challenge in Muncie, IN
